Six of the 34 songs on the GTA 6 album are already out. Rockstar has said nothing about the other 28. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album was announced on September 17 and lands on November 19, alongside the game, as a digital release (with pre-save), CD and vinyl, including a limited-edition vinyl, according to the album's official page.

The six you can play now

  • "RHYNO" by Travis Scott, produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk;
  • "Sexy Magic" by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso with PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Étienne de Crécy;
  • "Last Thing You Need" by Morgan Wallen;
  • "Bright Lights, Big City" by Keith Richards;
  • "Macacoa 2000" by Rauw Alejandro;
  • "That's It" by Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin.

Country, reggaeton, rap and electronic music share a list of six, and that is just over a sixth of the record. The titles and features come from Vice and Consequence, which agree with each other.

Vinyl: same record, two colors, two prices

The sources disagree here, and the disagreement tells you something about the product. Vice describes a double vinyl at $49.98, transparent magenta with blue splatter, with shipping expected on November 20, a day after the game's launch. UK shop Blood Records sells a double LP splattered in pink, blue and purple for £39.99, with a 12 x 24 inch poster and a limit of two per customer. When we opened the page, its one-week pre-order already showed as sold out, and the shop says it aims to ship close to November 19.

Two colors, two prices and two dates point to retailer-specific variants, and Blood Records describes its pressing as exclusive and hand-numbered. None of the sources confirms that, so treat it as our reading, not a fact.

Another Thursday announcement

The album fits a run of Thursday announcements. After the Extended Look on August 27, pre-orders for the limited-edition DualSense controllers opened on September 10, the album followed on the 17th and the Vice City Collection on the 24th, according to the game's official hub and VGTimes. The pattern suggests more news before November 19, but that is our reading, not an announcement. The official page already funnels purchases: it links to a pre-save for the digital release and to pre-orders for CD and vinyl.

What Rockstar has not said

  • The remaining 28 tracks. According to Consequence, they will be revealed at a later date.
  • How the songs fit into the game. Vice says these are original songs made for GTA VI, separate from the licensed radio-station music. Consequence does not address radio or in-game use. In the sources we read, nobody has yet explained whether the album is part of the soundtrack, a promotional compilation or both.
  • Sales in Brazil. None of the pages we checked covers CD or vinyl pricing or availability there.

The game's official date, November 19, is in our piece on the launch confirmation.
