A giant "Welcome to Vice City" sign has been lit atop Kaseya Center in Miami since October 1. According to VGTimes, the installation cost about $975,000. It is the most visible part of a Rockstar and Miami Heat partnership announced on October 2, 2026, which includes apparel on sale now and an NBA game turned into a GTA 6 event.
The night of November 18
The game is called "A Night in Vice City" and takes place on November 18, 2026, at Kaseya Center against the Milwaukee Bucks, the eve of GTA 6's launch, per The Source and VGTimes. By our count, November 18, 2026 falls on a Wednesday, and Rockstar's game arrives Thursday, the 19th.
On the court: Insider Gaming describes a "Vice City Court" with custom hardwood, and completely reimagined uniforms for the night. The Source mentions an exclusive uniform never worn by the team before. None of the pages we read shows the final design, and none carries statements from Heat or Rockstar executives.
On broadcast, the sources differ in level of detail. The Source cites ESPN nationally and Local 10 for South Florida. VGTimes adds WPLG Local 10 and the radio station FM 104.3 WQAM. Insider Gaming gives no broadcast information. The tip-off time appears in none of them.
What you can buy
The collection comes from Court Culture, the Heat's clothing line, and is sold at Miami HEAT Store locations and on MiamiHeatStore.com. Per VGTimes, there are 14 pieces:
- T-shirts from $45 to $55, with designs such as "Welcome to Vice City," "Vice City Grill" and "Vice City Souvenir"
- Hoodie, black with a neon logo: $100
- Crewneck "Welcome to Vice City" with an alligator, made with Duvin: $110, the priciest piece
- New Era snapback caps: $50 each
- Dad cap: $48
Insider Gaming reports the dad cap already showed as sold out. That is from one outlet only, and stock moves fast, so check the store.
Prices are in dollars, before shipping and taxes. None of the sources says whether the store ships to Brazil, and we found no price in reais. If you buy, convert at the day's exchange rate and add import costs; the final amount tends to land well above the straight conversion.
This is not Rockstar's own collection
It is easy to mix this up with official game merchandise. The Heat's clothing is the team's product, borrowing Vice City's look from GTA 6's universe. The box Rockstar itself sells is something else, the $400 Vice City Collection, which does not include the game. And the Vintage Vice City Pack pre-order bonus is also independent of the T-shirts.
Our reading
Two weeks ago, Rockstar's marketing was almost entirely digital: trailers, a magazine cover, a collector's box. Putting the game on the court of an NBA team, in the city that inspires the map, follows a different logic: occupying the real city in launch week. The sign, the game and the clothes point at the same thing. That is interpretation, not confirmation from any of the sources.
What is not known yet
In the sources we read, there is no schedule for new pieces, no information on international sales, and no details of the uniforms. If Rockstar or the Heat publish more, we will update this text.
