Updated October 20, 2026, with Justice's original score, announced on October 15. The six stations are the ones Rockstar revealed on October 8. The game's total station count has not been announced; this guide grows with each reveal.

GTA 6 launches on November 19 with what Rockstar describes as the biggest and most varied radio selection in the series. Below is everything that can be stated so far: the stations, who is on air, what they play, how you listen in the game and what is still open. Where something comes from the press rather than from Rockstar, we say so. Our report on the announcement, with what each outlet said, is in GTA 6 reveals its first six radio stations.

The names, genres and hosts above are the ones on the game's official music page (rockstargames.com/VI/music).

Station by station

Quoted descriptions are Rockstar's own. The songs come from the audio previews, as heard and listed by Paste, Kotaku and VGTimes; no station has had its full playlist published.

Cocoteo

Modern Latin: bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton. The official tagline mixes both languages: "El party que nunca se apaga". Songs named: "EoO" (Bad Bunny), "Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix)" (Axel Rulay) and "Canalla" (Romeo Santos). Farruko, El Alfa and El Chaval de la Bachata are also in the mix.

Back Country

"Airboat-ready renegade country", in Rockstar's words. Besides the two hosts, the station has a reporter, Mud Dog Mike, who according to VGTimes broadcasts from an airboat. On the playlist: Loretta Lynn ("Don't Come Home A-Drinkin'"), David Allan Coe ("Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behavior"), Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings.

Afro Bank FM

African music, from 20th-century classics to today's amapiano and 3-step. Featured: Asake, Pat Thomas ("Gye Wani"), Ebo Taylor, DJ Lag, Robot Boii and Kamo Mphela. The spelling varies in the press ("AfroBank FM"); the official page writes it as two words.

The Chamber

Metal from the 1980s onward. "Jump in the pit", says the official blurb. Black Sabbath, Pantera and Slayer's "Raining Blood". Some outlets give the frequency as 106.6.

Flash FM

Pop, and the only station returning from an earlier game: Rockstar calls it "the Vice City institution", and it was already the pop station in GTA: Vice City. Songs named: "Electric Feel" (MGMT), "Good Ones" (Charli xcx) and "Midnight Sun" (Zara Larsson with PinkPantheress).

Dirty South Classics

Regional rap and hip-hop from the American South, served with "a little southern hospitality". David Banner ("Like A Pimp"), JT Money ("Who Dat"), Lil' Flip, Rick Ross, Pitbull, DJ Khaled and Trick Daddy.

Who the hosts are

Rockstar has only given the on-air names. Matching them to real artists is the press's work:

On airReportedly
El Martillo and La GataBad Bunny and RaiNao
MW and Delta DawneMorgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey
Mud Dog MikeJeremy Dufrene
Burna and PalmsyBurna Boy and Palms Trax
DJ Kerry and DJ TomSlayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya
Robyn and AlexRobyn and Alex Consani
Trick and TrinaTrick Daddy and Trina

Outlets disagree on how official that is. Dexerto treats the identities as confirmed by Rockstar; Guided.news says Rockstar confirmed only the stations and their genres, and that the names come from Pitchfork's reporting. We could not read the full Newswire post to settle it, so the table stays labelled "reportedly".

Some explain themselves (Burna, Trick and Trina go by their own stage names). Others, like Delta Dawne being Lana Del Rey, rest entirely on the reporting.

How you listen in the game

  • In a vehicle, as in every GTA.
  • On foot, for the first time in the series: Jason and Lucia listen through their phones, with earbuds. Dexerto, Kotaku and Guided.news all report it.
  • On-demand podcasts, another first, playable while walking or driving.

Next to nothing has been said about the podcasts. Format, topics, number of episodes, running time and whether they unlock as the story progresses are all unknown, according to Guided.news.

The radio is not the album

They are three different things, and easy to mix up:

  • The radio stations play existing, licensed songs inside the game.
  • GTA 6: The Album is the original soundtrack: 34 new tracks, out on November 19. Six have been released, among them Morgan Wallen's "Last Thing You Need" and Travis Scott's "RHYNO".
  • The game's score (the background music for missions and exploration) is by French duo Justice, announced by Rockstar on October 15 alongside the launch trailer. The official page credits Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay as "original score composers", and Rockstar calls it a "dynamic" score, according to Mixmag Asia.

Justice are also behind "Flower in a Hurricane", with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, the song in the launch trailer. The official page calls it a "standalone single" and doesn't say whether it is on the album. We covered the single in "Flower in a Hurricane": the trailer single.

The names overlap. Morgan Wallen is on the album and, per the press, is the "MW" on Back Country. And "RHYNO" was produced by former Daft Punk member Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, according to Mixmag Asia and GLITCHED; Rockstar's page lists the track without naming the producer. We covered the album, vinyl prices included, in six songs out, 28 to be revealed and a vinyl with two prices.

Can you listen now?

Yes. The official music page has a preview of each of the six stations, with idents, host chatter and song snippets, according to Shacknews.

Is there anything beyond English?

Cocoteo brings Spanish into the mix, judging by its tagline. We write from Brazil, so we checked that side too: none of the six stations is Brazilian, and no Brazilian artist appears among the songs listed by the outlets we read.

Language matters for another reason: the game has no dubbing in any language, only subtitles, as we explain in the dubbing and languages guide. Rockstar has not said whether station chatter and podcasts will be subtitled. For anyone who does not follow spoken English, that decides how much of the stations' humor gets through.

What is still unknown

In the sources we read, these went unanswered:

  • The total number of stations. Six is the first batch.
  • Talk radio, a series tradition. Shacknews mentions talk shows, without names.
  • The full playlist for each station.
  • A custom station with the player's own music: nothing has been announced.
  • Subtitles for hosts and podcasts.
  • Everything about the podcasts, beyond the fact that they exist.
  • How Justice's score works in the game: Rockstar calls it "dynamic" but hasn't explained whether it shifts with the action, or whether it will get its own release.

When Rockstar reveals the next batch, this guide will be updated with the new stations.
