The song playing over the launch trailer isn't generic montage music. "Flower in a Hurricane" is a single by Justice, the French duo that composed GTA 6's original score, with three guests on the credits: Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar's own page for the video bills the track as a debut in the trailer.

Who's on it

  • Justice wrote the game's original score. SPIN describes the single as a preview of that score and says only part of it appears in the trailer, so what people heard in the video is an excerpt.
  • Tame Impala is the reunion people are talking about: SPIN points out the track brings Justice back together with Kevin Parker, whose band won the 2025 Grammy for Best Electronic Recording with "Neverender."
  • SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard round out the credits. The band is Australian.

TheGamer, which calls the track an "instant banger," says the video's montage is cut around it. RockstarINTEL and Game Over Drive stress that it's a standalone Justice single that also lands on the game's official album.

The album, now with nine names

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album arrives November 19, the same day as the game, with 34 original songs. Rockstar's music page currently names nine of them. In our earlier coverage there were six; the official list as it stands today:

#TrackArtist
1"That's It" (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)Yung Lean
2"RHYNO"Travis Scott
3"Sexy Magic"CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Pink Pantheress, Fred again.., Etienne de Crécy
4"Flower in a Hurricane"Justice (feat. Tame Impala, SZA, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard)
5"Last Thing You Need"Morgan Wallen
6"Suzuki"Fuerza Regida
7"Macacoa 2000"Rauw Alejandro
8"Don't Chart"Cardi B
9"Bright Lights, Big City"Keith Richards

That leaves 25 tracks without a revealed name. None of the artists on the list is Brazilian.

How to hear it: pre-save is open on the major streaming services. In physical formats, the page offers vinyl in two versions (an Exclusive splatter pressing and a Standard one) sold through Rockstar's store, plus CD pre-orders. The page shows no prices; what we know about the two-price vinyl is here.

The radio stations: who's who

SPIN and Rockstar's page describe the same six stations but name the hosts differently. Rockstar uses character names; SPIN uses the artists. The sources we read don't link one name to the other, so the table below is our reading, made by comparing style and position in each list:

StationOn Rockstar's pageIn SPIN
Cocoteo (Latin)El Martillo and La GataBad Bunny and RaiNao
Back Country (country)MW and Delta DawneLana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen
Afro Bank FM (amapiano and African classics)Burna and PalmsyBurna Boy and DJ Palms Trax
The Chamber (metal)DJ Kerry and DJ TomKerry King and Tom Araya
Flash FM (pop)Robyn and AlexRobyn and Alex Consani
Dirty South Classics (Southern rap)Trick and TrinaTrick Daddy and Trina

For Burna/Burna Boy, Kerry/Kerry King, Robyn and Trick/Trick Daddy the match is all but certain. For Cocoteo and Back Country, we can't say who "El Martillo" or "MW" is from the sources we opened. For the stations with confirmed hosts and songs, the site's radio guide is the place to look, and the original announcement coverage is here.

What we still don't know

  • The single's release date. None of the sources we read says when "Flower in a Hurricane" became available outside the trailer. SPIN and RockstarINTEL talk about a single that's already out, but the pages we opened give no official release date.
  • A score album. SPIN says no separate album with only Justice's original score has been announced. For now, Justice's music lives inside The Album.
  • Vinyl and CD prices, and how to buy in Brazil: the official page doesn't say.
  • The remaining 25 tracks. Only Rockstar knows the order they'll be revealed in.
