A chihuahua in sunglasses, a gold chain spelling out "Vice City" across its chest, a pink-and-purple sunset behind it. That's the label for No Mames Vice City, a 6% ABV lager that turned up — alongside two other GTA 6 brands — in the public database of the TTB, the US government agency that signs off on alcoholic beverage labels.

The other two are old friends of the series: Pißwasser, the cheap fake-German beer GTA has been joking about for years, and Patriot, the flag-waving American brew Jason picks up in the second trailer. All three were filed by Tripping Animals Brewing, a craft brewery in Doral, the city that sits right against Miami.

The filings were spotted by fan site iGrandTheftAuto, and the story spread on October 20 and 21 through Dexerto, Beebom, TechWiser, VGTimes and the Dominican outlet GamersRD.

The three cans

BeerABVTTB approval
Pißwasser4.2%September 29, 2026
No Mames Vice City6%October 9, 2026
Patriot4.2%October 15, 2026

The dates match across Dexerto, Beebom and TechWiser. The ABV figures are a slightly different story: Dexerto and VGTimes only mention the 6% for No Mames Vice City, while Beebom, TechWiser and GamersRD put the other two at 4.2% — TechWiser points out that's the same as Bud Light. None of the pages we read contradicts the 4.2%; some simply leave it out.

TechWiser describes all three as easy-drinking, session-style lagers, which fits what Pißwasser has always been in the games: the mass-market beer nobody takes seriously.

The chihuahua isn't Rockstar's

This is the part none of the label stories mention. No Mames isn't a brand invented for GTA 6 — it's Tripping Animals' own flagship lager. A profile of the brewery in Craft Beer & Brewing magazine describes No Mames as the house Mexican-style lager, with a heavy-lidded chihuahua mascot on the label.

So the shades-wearing dog Beebom calls a "stylized chihuahua" is the brewery's mascot, just wearing a Vice City chain. Our read is that this looks like a co-branded product — the house beer getting a themed edition — rather than an official Rockstar beer built from scratch. That's an interpretation, not a confirmation: neither Rockstar nor the brewery has said anything about a deal.

The brewery is a natural fit, too. Tripping Animals was founded by four Venezuelans — Daniel Chocron, Iker Elorriaga, Ignacio Montenegro and Juan-Manuel Torres — who started homebrewing in Caracas and opened in Doral in late 2018, drawn by the city's huge Venezuelan community. "No Mames," Mexican slang any Spanish speaker will recognize, slots neatly into a Leonida full of Latin radio and South Florida culture.

Approved doesn't mean on shelves

Breweries don't register labels for fun: the fact that all three sit in the TTB database shows somebody is getting ready to bring these cans to market. But a label approval isn't a release announcement.

Every source we read is clear on that. VGTimes and Dexerto note that neither Rockstar Games nor Tripping Animals has publicly announced a collaboration, and that there's no word on when the beers would go on sale, what they'd cost, or whether they'd be sold nationwide or only in Florida. Beebom and TechWiser speculate the cans could appear first in Miami bars or at launch events; GamersRD says there is "no date or confirmed points of sale yet" (our translation).

Another piece of "Miami becomes Vice City"

If the beers do go on sale, they'll join a run of Rockstar activations in the city we've already covered: the fleet of themed cars, Vice Beach police cruiser included, driving around Miami, the Vice City sign and banners, the Miami Heat's Vice City night on November 18, and the Wynwood Walls partnership. Dexerto lists the beers alongside the $400 collector's box and the care packages sent to content creators.

The timing adds up. The approvals landed between late September and mid-October; the game arrives on November 19, the day after the Heat game. A can with "Vice City" on it sold in Miami that very week would be consistent with everything Rockstar has done in the city so far — again, that's our inference.

Outside the US?

There's nothing to suggest these beers will leave the United States. The registration is with a US federal agency, the brewery is regional, and by the sources' own account even US sales aren't a given. For now, a can of Pißwasser on your shelf depends on someone flying to Miami — and on the beer actually reaching stores.

If you just want something GTA 6 in your hands before launch, the official Rockstar Store collection is still the most concrete option.

Still unconfirmed

According to the sources we read, these questions remain open:

  • whether Rockstar officially licensed the brands to Tripping Animals (using the game's marks suggests so, but there's no statement);
  • price, release date and where the beers will be sold;
  • whether more drinks are coming — the series has other beer brands, and fan lists from the trailers mention names like Pindayho Cerveza and Barracho, which don't appear in the filings found so far;
  • whether the cans will be sold to the public or only handed out at events.

We'll update if Rockstar or the brewery says anything.
